My client’s main goal for her garage was to be able to park both of her vehicles in it. We have to keep in mind that whenever a space is being decluttered and organized that it has to be functional and work for the person. Organizing does not mean that the space has to look like a photo in a magazine article.
She is very artistic and involved in plays and projects in her community and has lots of big & bulky items that she needs to keep. She also needed a space to work on her various projects so the table was moved to the back right side of the garage. We were able to repurpose and use shelves and baskets she already had and she also purchased additional shelves and containers from her local Goodwill store.
Even though there were still a couple of projects left to do in the garage that my client was going to eventually tackle on her own, her main goal of making space for both vehicles was accomplished.
